Reynosa, Mexico at the Dawn of the 21st Century

As mentioned previously, I've been slowly working my way through the massive archive of negatives and prints from my family's archive. I recently came across a set of prints from twenty-five years ago, when my late father and I visited my grandparents at their home in South Texas and took a day to take a quick visit across the border to the Mexican city of Reynosa. Scanning these photos, I—and I'm not ashamed to admit this—descended into a bit of a funk as I became nostalgic for the long-gone days of having adventures with my dad and saddened that the cancer that killed him robbed him of spending time with his family and, especially, the grandkids he never knew.
